I stayed at Shabby House for a few nights and had an amazing experience. The guesthouse was cozy, warm, and exceptionally clean. The rooms were beautifully furnished with comfortable beds. The highlight of my stay was the delicious and varied Japanese breakfast served every morning. Kudo, the host, was simply outstanding. He went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, picking me up from the station, driving me to tourist sites, and even preparing breakfast bentos for my early morning departure. The vintage charm of the house added to the overall experience. I highly recommend this guesthouse for its excellent value and exceptional hospitality.

We love staying at Shabby House in Sapporo. The location is great, close to downtown, local tram stops, and Sapporo. The hotel is only 2 miles from Susukino. The breakfast is delicious with a wide selection of food.

Located within walking distance of Mount Moira and easily accessible by trolley, the inn offers a true local experience. The owner is incredibly generous and accommodating, even going out of his way to drive guests around the city. The varied and tasty breakfast, made by the host, is a definite highlight of the stay. the inn provides complimentary bikes and useful amenities like umbrellas and sunglasses. The host's attentiveness and helpfulness greatly enhance the homely atmosphere.

The rooms in the upper floor may pose a challenge for those with small children due to the steep stairs. the size of the "small double" room might be smaller than expected, with limited space for belongings and no windows.

We loved the unique and retro vibe of the house, it was a refreshing change from a bland hotel room. The host, Kudo san, made us feel extremely welcome, like we were at home away from home. He even offered to give us a lift to the station and served delicious breakfasts tailored to our dietary needs.

Tbh, had a such great stay for business trip. Everything was very convenient, favourable location close to local tram stops, the staff were nice. The room was warm and cozy and there were a microwave and an electric kettle. The food was different, with variety of options. Location: the hotel was right by the city center, the mountain, and supermarket n bus station to downtown. Also, I was only a 5-minute walk from Statue of Hisoka Maejima...

I had an amazing stay at Shabby House in Sapporo. The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. He even picked me up from the station and gave me a tour of the city. The house itself had so much character and was conveniently located near the streetcar line and a grocery store. The rooms were clean and cozy, with fresh towels provided daily. I loved that coffee and tea were complimentary, and the option to use the bicycles and umbrellas for free was a great bonus. The breakfast served was absolutely delicious, providing a taste of traditional Japanese cuisine. It was truly the best hotel experience I've had in Japan.

The Shabby House truly resembles the typical Japanese home we often see in movies. It gives off an authentic and cozy vibe. I loved it!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the microwave in the double room. But hey, that's just my preference, others might find it handy.
